# Driving preparation orientation — proposed creative brief

Audience: a learner beginning US DMV preparation.
Purpose: help the viewer identify the state and a manageable next study action.
Duration: 45 seconds. Master: 16:9; reframe and review a mobile crop separately.
Status: proposed creative work, not a produced film or an existing interface.

## Production plan
Use a fictional learner, a desk, a notebook and generic screen graphics. No real learner data, state seals or pass guarantees. The accompanying CSV contains the full eight-shot script and timing sheet. Read the script aloud before booking the shoot; shorten copy if a natural delivery exceeds its slot.

## Accessibility and approval
Prepare accurate captions, a transcript and spoken instructions for essential screen actions. Test the sequence with sound off, on a small display, and with the transcript alone. Confirm state-selection wording with a subject reviewer; this film is not legal advice or official DMV guidance.

## Illustrative production allowance — USD, not a quote
Script and storyboard: 300
Half-day self-shoot: 450
Screen graphics and edit: 400
Caption/transcript review: 150
Total: 1300
Assumes existing equipment, one location and internal talent. Excludes paid media, travel, licensing, tax and external talent. Obtain an actual quote before committing spend.

## Review gates
Approve wording → rehearse timing → check rough cut → review captions and mobile crop → approve final action. Use comprehension and useful next steps as proposed measures, not driving-test pass rates.
